MERRILL EVANS

Merrill Evans joined our Elks Lodge about a year before his passing.  He was an active member of the Holy Catholic Church in Bremerton and a collector of the Bonsai trees.  As a new Ladies of Elks (LOE), member, Merrill graciously made a spectacular LOE presentation with his Bonsai showings.  In September 2016, he became engaged to a wonderful soul mate, Perianne Yourkoski, at which time they started Waltz lessons to prepare for their upcoming June 24, 2017 wedding.  On August 4, 2017, only 6 weeks after their wedding date, Merrill suddenly passed with a heart attack.  Merrill was one of the most happy, wonderful, kind, and caring gentleman ever.  Merrill is sorely missed and our memories of him will always be very special.
