Giving Back to the Community

Thanks to the generosity of the Elks National Foundation Gratitude Grant and our members, our Lodge donated $2,867.04 to nine food banks across Kitsap County!

We supported all nine food banks in the Kitsap County Food Bank Coalition. These food banks include...

  • Helpline House on Bainbridge Island
  • Bremerton Foodline in Bremerton
  • Central Kitsap Food Bank in Silverdale
  • North Mason Food Bank in Belfair
  • North Kitsap Fishline in Poulsbo
  • St. Vincent de Paul in Bremerton
  • The Salvation Army in Bremerton
  • Sharenet in Kingston
  • South Kitsap Helpline in Port Orchard

Because of you, thousands of our neighbors and community members can get food and needed supplies.

Bremerton Elks Lodge #1181 Leadership made the difficult decision to close our Lodge during the COVID-19 outbreak. Just after that decision was made, Washington State Governor Inslee closed all restaurants and social gathering sites (among other things). Bremerton Elks Lodge #1181 is acting in compliance with Grand Lodge closure requirements and hopes to be able to reopen again as soon as COVID-19 is under control.

We appreciate your patience during this difficult time. Rest assured that  we continue to work behind the scenes to help our community during this time of hardship. If you have questions please contact us via email and we will get back with you as soon as possible.

If you would like to help, check out our Gratitude Grant "Match" program that supports the Kitsap County Food Bank Coalition on our Dues and Donations page.

Take care and stay healthy!
